Doing that math by hand — across a dozen services, a handful of official bundles, and prices that change every few months — got old fast.
So StreamStretch does it instead. Tell it every show and movie you actually want to watch, and it checks every realistic combination of streaming, live TV, and cable services — including official multi-service bundles — to find the lowest-cost lineup that covers all of it. No account required, no guesswork about which service to cancel.
What makes StreamStretch different
Most "which streaming service should I get" content is generic — it ranks services by overall value, not by what you specifically watch. StreamStretch flips that: it starts from your actual watchlist and works backward to the cheapest way to cover it, factoring in things that are easy to miss doing this by hand, like official bundle pricing and which tier a service's cheapest plan actually is.
Where the data comes from
Show and movie availability is sourced from TMDB's catalog of what's currently available via subscription ("flatrate") plans in the US, covering dozens of providers. Provider pricing is checked directly against each service's own pricing pages and cross-referenced against current industry pricing roundups, and is refreshed periodically since streaming prices change often. Live TV and cable channel line-ups, which TMDB doesn't track, are maintained by hand.

StreamStretch is an independent project, built and maintained by one person who got tired of doing this math manually. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix, Hulu, Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, Apple, Amazon, Paramount, Peacock, or any other streaming or cable provider mentioned on this site. Pricing and availability information is provided for comparison purposes and should be verified against each provider's own site before subscribing.
